Unless you live in a cave with no gadgets then you will have heard of the Angry Birds. And with the Angry Birds knock on wood game we now have a new way of interacting with these most popular of characters. Although I can’t buy all the toys I talk about here, I do make it a point to make ones that I have bought for the kids a priority. And this is one game that I bought for them, and I am not honestly sure that it was such a good idea.

What is it about the Angry Birds that holds such a fascination? I don’t get it, but that may just be my age.

Should You Buy This Game
Firstly, I am going to have to warn you, this is a game that the kids seem to get a little obsessed with. I guess it is the mayhem and destruction that appeals. No surprise there really.
The game is very simple and the kids will be up and playing within minutes really. Then the fun, or the nightmare, begins.
What I Like About Angry Birds Knock On Wood Board Game
Well, the cheap price makes it a good buy if you want a toy or game that will keep the children entertained without it costing a fortune.
That said it is really the fact that they get so engrossed in it that I like. It is not very often that a game captures their interest so much. Plus it is quite constructive in one way, They have to use their skills to build what they see on the cards and this gets them thinking.
But you can see everyone just itching to knock it down, and this is what the game is all about really. Which brings me on to what I don’t like.
Why Not To Buy
The pieces fly everywhere.
If you have pets then get them our of the room if they are prone to picking up little defenceless plastic pigs and birds!
I warn you now.
And if you can’t really stand squeals of pain or delight, depending on who is doing the building and who is doing the knocking down, then this is not the game for your house.
They absolutely love this game.
OK, most of this is in jest. It is a great game and a very affordable one at that too. Just make sure that you get the children to pick up all the pieces after they finish. And make sure that they don’t play somewhere where the pieces can travel too far either.

I do actually recommend this highly. Buy it if you want something cheap that will keep the kids amused for hours on end. I can’t actually think of anything else that has held such appeal for such a long period of time.
It is a great addition to the whole Angry Birds franchise. And to be honest if I had to choose between this or weird chuckles emanating from various gadgets I know which one I would choose.
